Musical Theater
Musical Theater teaches your aspiring entertainers the art and skills to deliver impactful, heartfelt, and oftentimes humorous performances through popular musicals. Students will learn acting, dancing and timing through dances and combinations taught in class; there are also performances at the end of each year to showcase all they have practiced in classes. Comfortable clothing, Jazz or Ballet shoes are recommended. Hair should be neat and out of the face.
Tap
Ballet / Pointe
Technique based on body alignment, proper placement, and posture. Barre and center floor work are utilized to teach musicality, rhythm, coordination and flexibility. Ballet provides a foundation for all other forms of dance as well as conditioning for sports and injury prevention. Ballet is encouraged for all dancers, as well as athletes wishing to gain better body control, alignment, and core strength. Ballet teaches discipline, self control, respect, and self awareness and is recommended as a supplemental class with Jazz, Musical Theater and Lyrical. Leotards, Tights and Ballet Slippers are required. Hair should be neat and out of the face.
Pointe/ Pre Pointe classes are only offered to our advanced ballet dancers who have executed the basic technique required (Ages 10+). Pointe students must be enrolled in the ballet class before pointe, pointe class is an additional class to ballet technique. For dancers who still need to work on their strength, but interested in getting pointe shoes, we recommend joining the class with ballet slippers to build up the necessary strength required of Pointe work.
Jazz
A stylized dance genre focusing on high energy, fast movements, musicality and personality. Jazz dance also studies rhythm, coordination, isolation of movement and creativity through movement all while learning fun and challenging dance routines each week. Ballet and Technique classes are recommended to supplement this class to support proper technique and alignment. Tight fitting clothing is recommended with jazz or ballet shoes with hair up and out of the face.
Hip Hop

Hip Hop is danced to music with strong beats and is great for anyone wanting to improve their rhythm, coordination and overall dancing skills with combinations and dance routines to some of your favorite songs. Comfortable clothing and sneakers are recommended for all Hip Hop classes.
Lyrical/Contemporary
A form of theatrical dancing that uses ballet technique, use of fall and recovery, contraction, release, locomotor movements, movements that convey a message or tell a story, use of irregular music, sounds, electronic music, contemporary music and poetry. Most professional ballet dancers are also trained in lyrical and contemporary. Today choreographers combine ballet with modern technique for many of their works. Lyrical and Contemporary are a beautiful and musical genre of dance that explores self expression and creativity through movement. Leotards, tights or leggings are recommended with bare feet or ballet slippers. Flowing skirts and some warmups are allowed. Hair should be neat and out of the face.
